Terms and Conditions

The operating terms for using afrismarthome.com, placing orders, requesting support and applying for partner access.

Last updated 4 July 2026 FCFA pricing Cameroon operations

Cameroon launch platform

AfriSmartHome sells and supports smart energy and smart home products through online retail, showrooms, franchise stores and approved partner routes.

FCFA pricing

Consumer prices are presented in FCFA and are intended to be VAT-inclusive where VAT applies, unless a product page, quote or invoice states otherwise.

Safe product use

Customers must use products within the stated specifications, especially for power stations, solar input, smart locks, alarms and installed devices.

Using the website

By using afrismarthome.com, creating an account, placing an order, requesting support or applying for partner access, you agree to these terms and the policies linked from this page.

You must provide accurate account, billing, pickup, delivery and contact information. You must not misuse the website, interfere with security, submit false claims or use AfriSmartHome products for unlawful purposes.

Products and information

We aim to keep product information accurate, including model names, specifications, compatibility, warranty, pricing and stock. Product images, runtime examples and compatibility notes are for buyer guidance and may vary by product batch, usage pattern, installation and supplier update.

For portable power stations, runtime figures are estimates. Customers must check appliance watts, startup surge, solar input limits and safety instructions before use.

Orders, payment and stock

  • An order is accepted only when confirmed by AfriSmartHome or the approved selling location.
  • Stock shown online may change due to showroom, franchise or supplier movement.
  • We may cancel or correct an order where there is a pricing error, stock error, suspected fraud, payment failure or product restriction.
  • Approved B2B or franchise terms may include payment-before-dispatch, RRP compliance and separate written obligations.

Pickup, delivery and installation

Orders may be fulfilled online, through pickup points, showrooms, franchise stores or delivery partners depending on product availability and location. Pickup or delivery times are estimates until confirmed.

Installation services may be provided by AfriSmartHome, approved installers or franchise partners. Installed products may require site conditions, power availability, Wi-Fi strength, compatible gateways and customer approval before completion.

Warranty, returns and support

Warranty terms depend on the product listing, supplier terms and written quote. Warranty does not cover misuse, overload, unauthorised repair, incorrect installation, water ingress beyond rating, power surge, tampering or use outside specifications.

Returns, exchanges and refunds are handled under the Refunds, Returns and Exchanges policy. Customers should keep order records and report faults with evidence.

Smart apps and third-party services

Some smart home products depend on third-party apps, cloud platforms, gateways, voice assistants, Wi-Fi networks or mobile devices. AfriSmartHome can help with setup guidance, but we do not control every third-party app update, cloud service, network condition or device compatibility change.

Power station safety

Portable power stations must be used through their approved output sockets and within their stated ratings. Do not backfeed a wall socket, ring circuit or consumer unit using improvised leads. Fixed wiring, automatic transfer, essential-circuit backup, pumps, oxygen equipment or medical equipment require competent review.

A power station is not automatically a certified medical UPS, hospital essential power system or no-break backup system.

B2B and franchise accounts

B2B and franchise access is subject to review and approval. Approved partners must follow account rules, pricing rules, RRP guidance, payment discipline, warranty logging, customer data capture and reporting requirements. Separate signed agreements or written partner terms take priority where they apply.

Liability and acceptable use

AfriSmartHome is not responsible for loss caused by misuse, incorrect installation, unsupported modifications, third-party service failure, customer network issues, unsuitable product selection, unlawful use or failure to follow product instructions. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Updates to these terms

We may update these terms as launch operations, payment methods, tax setup, franchise procedures, supplier warranties and showroom processes are finalised. The latest version will be posted on this page.

These terms are intended for AfriSmartHome operations in Cameroon and should be reviewed with local legal and tax advisers as the business moves from pre-launch to active trading.
